China and the United States did not announce the restoration of duty-free policies in their announcement on May 13th, so all packages still need to pay high tariffs

New news about reducing tariffs

On May 13, 2025, China and the United States announced a reduction in tariffs. After the reduction, the United States will add a tariff of 34% starting from 2025, but the actual tariff will also include the base tariff on goods and the 301 tariff added in 2024.
Actual tariff=base tariff+301 tariff+34%
The basic tariffs for different categories are different. The basic tariff for clothing is generally within 20%, while the 301 tariff is 10%.

According to the current situation, the actual tariff=basic tariff (0-20%)+301 tariff (10%)+2025 new tariff (34%)=40% -60%.

A 60% tariff means that declaring a $100 package requires paying a $60 tariff.
Given the current situation, we still need to choose shipping channels that include tariffs, such as shipping by air.

We can only choose to ship by express delivery when the tax exemption policy is restored or the tariffs are reduced to a level that both of us can afford.
